Erin + Kyle Are Married! 6.7.14 | Hannah Park Wedding | Jacksonville Beach Wedding Photographer

Erin + Kyle found me in spring of 2013 and hired me without meeting me first but planned to visit Jacksonville and officially meet me a few months later. They were planning their wedding from New Jersey and when we finally got to meet we instantly clicked (which I had no doubt we would!). Erin being the most DIY bride ever (a girl after my own heart - love her!) had so many wonderful ideas and as I heard more and more about her vision during the planning process I couldn't wait to see the final outcome of their relaxed destination boho chic beach wedding. Their wedding had around 50 people, all of who traveled to Jacksonville for them and their special day and it was the sweetest most laid back wedding I have ever shot. I loved all the personal details, the boho vibe, their sweet vows they wrote themselves and the fact that they didn't have your average "reception" but just a dinner at Sliders in Atlantic Beach which they rented out for the night for their friends and family. The weather forecast said 60% chance of rain all day. It didn't rain a drop. Some storm clouds lingered nearby but never ruined their beach ceremony and actually created a perfect sky for pictures afterward. I could not believe it didn't rain AT ALL. There was even a June breeze blowing. June 7th 2014 was meant to be their wedding day, I have no doubt. These are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet and shooting their wedding was an honor and joy.

Oh and the cutest part? They have known each other since 4th GRADE. Yes, 4th grade. Look below at the letter she kept from when they "dated" in 4th grade from Kyle. I can't even handle it.

I will be posting part two of their sneak preview with their day after session post coming soon!

So much thanks to all the vendors involved in Erin + Kyle's wedding day. And Erin for being an amazing DIY bride who did everything so beautifully.

Katy + Chris 5.31.14 | Nocatee Crosswater Hall | Jacksonville, FL Wedding Photographer

The clouds parted and the rain stopped a few hours before their ceremony started and let me just say, this resulted in the most gorgeous softest light I have been graced with for a while. It was hard to narrow down my favorites for these two and their sneak preview. I absolutely adored their rustic and sweet wedding at Nocatee's Crosswater Hall. This venue is one of the venues I have shot at the most especially in the past two years so every time I shoot here I really try to get creative and think of spots I haven't shot at before and this time was pretty much all new spots with gorgeous light as a backdrop.

Loved working with these two and seeing the smiles on their faces right after they were pronounced husband + wife was priceless. Enjoy your honeymoon in Jamaica!

Special thanks to all the wonderful vendors who made Katy + Chris's day come together so beautifully:
