Tuesdays Together Dinner Party

This blog is way late and long overdue since this lovely dinner happened back in early December. Whoopsie! But I am finally able to sit down and blog it after a crazy busy December and January so far! 

Tuesdays Together is where a ton of creatives (not just the wedding industry!) from all over get together in their communities every second Tuesday of the month to encourage, learn and grow from one another. It's been amazing to be apart of and I get to see familiar faces and meet new ones all the time. 

In December Megan Martin (from Megan Martin Creative) put together this lovely dinner along with a line up of amazing local vendors. 

And of course no dinner party with a bunch of photogs and creative people would be complete without a bunch of us snapping some pictures before we ate our yummy meal.

Anthony + Sue Are Married! | January 17th 2016 | Jacksonville FL Wedding Photographer

Anthony + Sue got married this past Sunday in an intimate ceremony under a tree with under 15 of their closest family and friends surrounding them. The morning of their wedding it was freezing, pouring and windy. By the time the ceremony rolled around it was still chilly but the sun was shining bright and only a slight breeze was happening. Truly one of the craziest wedding day weather changes I have ever seen!

 I have gotten to shoot so many smaller weddings lately and I adore them. Simple and sweet with no stress about a strict time frame during pictures. I love it. These two and their families were SO much fun. I seriously don't think I have ever laughed so hard while shooting family formals. Everyone was such a blast and so excited for the day and it was a pleasure to be a part of.

Nayer + Almond Are Married! | January 2nd 2016 | Ponte Vedra FL Wedding Photographer

Nayer + Almond were my kick off to 2016 and what a blast we had! Loved all of the amazing vendors I got to work with (some old friends and some new!) And despite an overcast chilly day, we actually had really cool soft light as a result. I had a three hour gap between the ceremony and the reception for pictures (aka: heaven for a photographer) We had so much time to get everything they were wanting. 

Their families were so ecstatic and their wedding party was so much fun. You could literally feel the love and joy from all of the people around them as they joined both of their big families into one. Now it is one big family together!
