Madyson, Billy, Lola and Clark | Jacksonville Lifestyle Photographer

Like promised...more cute pooches! Mady and Billy don't hurt in the adorable department either. I finally had some gorgeous light to shoot in after a very temperamental November that hasn't been very nice but I've managed. I adore this session, and them. Madyson and I have known each other for years but just recently have gotten really close and I love it. She's also in the wedding industry as a fantastic wedding planner and we are currently planning an over the top Great Gatsby New Years Eve party together with a great group of girls. This session made me smile.

Daniel + Tank | Jacksonville Lifestyle Photographer

I'm loving that everyone is including their pooches in their holiday cards this year! (Next blog will have some cute pooches too, stay tuned!) Daniel is my brother in law and he wanted a few pictures with his fur child, Tank on the front porch of his new house. The perks of having a sister in law for a photog is that you can just call her over on a free Sunday and she will take requested pictures because you're family ;)
Very excited for Daniel and Tank's new home and excited to hang their card on our fridge this year!

Fallon + Daniel Are Married! | Glen Saint Mary, Florida Photographer

Fallon + Daniel are such a sweet couple and I was so excited to shoot their big day where I got married at the Glen Venue in Glen Saint Mary, FL. This venue has my heart and is beyond gorgeous just like these two. Despite a drizzly, overcast day - we made it work and still got every single image they wanted. This is when a first look comes in perfectly and I'm so thankful they did one (not only was it a beautiful moment but it made it possible to get the images I did of them with better lighting)

I'm so happy for these two and I hope you both are enjoying your honeymoon right now!
Enjoy their sneak peak below...

Venue: The Mathis House at The Glen Venue
Getting ready locations: Steele House + The Cabin at The Glen Venue
DJ: Skip Kelly Productions

Cake and Cupcakes: Three Sisters

- Special thanks to my intern, Dulcy for helping me on this wedding. She is visiting all the way from Oxford, England this week and I will have a blog post about her visit up soon!

Boston in November | A Personal Post

If you already know me well, you know I grew up in Boston, MA and moved to Jacksonville when I was thirteen years old. It was a huge adjustment and I'll be honest...I was not a fan of Florida when we came here. It was a completely different in every way and I just wasn't loving it. Of course I spent my teen years into my twenties here and it grew on me. I learned to drive here, made lifelong friends here, found my hubby, made my business. Needless to say I love it now but Boston is still my second home and I visit at least once a year to see my dad and other family members. If I'm able to make it up there twice a year I will.

I'm usually bad at taking pictures for myself on trips or special events in my own life. I find it tedious to shoot things "for me" since I'm always working with my camera "for work". So I'm working on changing that. I made it a point this trip to carry my camera everywhere I could and break in my new 25mm 2.8 lens (which I'm pretty obsessed with now) and I'm so glad I did. Below are some of my favorite pictures taken on our adventures in Massachusetts, November 6th-10th and all of them were taken with my 25mm.

Special moments ;)

Visiting my grandpa's grave.

Lunch with Ben, my dad and my uncle. Always fun.

The adventures of my dad making pancakes. With various hats.

Horseback riding on a three mile trail at Bobby's Ranch in Acton, MA. I've been going here since I was four and it looks exactly the same. Love this place.

Visiting my Yia Yia's burial site.

Boston bombing site. Still under major construction. It was extremely hard to stand there in person.
