Ok, so get ready. This will be the largest wedding sneak preview I have done to date and quite a large blog post to go along with it.
Jordyn + Shawn had a two day wedding extravaganza at a private friends property in Keystone Heights over the past weekend. The first day consisted of the most intimate and sweet wedding ceremony (only around ten friends and family on a private lake) followed by a delicious food filled reception with about forty of their closest friends and family. Day two was the big relaxed party with about 150 of their friends and family with live performances from fellow musicians including themselves, a pig roast, yard games, and of course the bourbon bar!
I met Jordyn close to six years ago when we shot together for some promo images for her new website and album. She was a solo artist at the time and such a talented one at that. It was an instant friendship and ease working with each other that we worked together many more times after this creating beautiful images, many of which ended up getting published in various places. We were truly an awesome team and I loved this girl! Then I remember having breakfast with her one morning and she had said she met someone. That someone was Shawn who was also a fellow singer and musician in his own band. As time went on and their talents and harmonies came together they became the duo that is now known as Flagship Romance. It was clear that they were meant to be together "In every lifetime" as they both say ;)
Getting to know (and work) with these two over these past years has been amazing. I consider them great friends and lets be real..sort of my muses. If you have browsed my website or blog at all...they are all over the place. Their wedding is like the magical finale of all the work we have ever done together. They are truly good genuine people and are such an amazing couple. I was truly honored to be the one they chose to capture their most special day and intimate ceremony. I adore the way they did their wedding day(s) and this is one of those weddings that just made my photog heart so incredibly happy. Not only by the beautiful light, people, beautiful decor and atmosphere but the real love that this wedding encompassed. It was amazing.
Get ready for the longest vendor list in the history of vendor lists. They were that DIY and had that many awesome people help with their big day.
