No matter how many birth stories I do, it's always an amazing and surreal experience to be a part of such a special day for the family and seeing someone born into this world.
I hadn't met Jena and Allyn before this day but from the moment I walked in their hospital room it was instantly comfortable and we all bonded over the six hours we spent together in the hospital and they (along with their family) were SO amazing, funny and just a true joy to be around during the entire waiting game of labor.
Jena was amazing and so strong. Finally a little before 6:00pm, Collyn (all 9lb 9oz of him) made his debut into this world on a sunny hot July day in St. Augustine, FL.
