Chris + Kasie | Jacksonville, FL Engagement and Wedding Photographer

Chris + Kasie are so sweet and they also both dancers so it was important to have a blend of backgrounds and vibes for their engagement session. It was so special to me to get to photograph Chris + Kasie's engagement in downtown Jacksonville (on a very chilly morning surprisingly for Florida). I photographed Chris's sister's engagement and wedding years ago along with this family a few times now and seeing Chris get engaged to sweet Kasie and hearing all about their big day plans has been wonderful. I can't wait for their wedding in July!

It's not every day that I get to shoot two of my best friends of many years. I always ask myself if it's easier or more difficult when shooting for friends? It's easier because I know they are obviously comfortable with me and I will definitely get natural smiles out of them by simply bringing up stories, making fun of myself or just telling dirty jokes. It's harder because I want it to be absolutely perfect for them and for them to adore their pictures. I'm sort of in love with how these turned out so I'm thinking I was able to accomplish both of these things.

We knew it was going to be 100+ degree July day so we planned their session around really nifty indoor locations and I am so excited to share their large sneak (It was hard to narrow down - I mean look at them. I know..they are just hideous) 

I can't wait for their wedding next March! I will be in this one for a change as a bridesmaid and I couldn't be more ecstatic for these two and the love they have found in one another.

Brittany + Brad booked their engagement session all the way back in December with me so when the time finally came - despite the 100 degree heat, they rocked it out! These two are hilarious and so easy to work with. I love their love and humor with each other - it's beautiful to see.

Rebecca + Jerry | Jacksonville, FL Engagement Photographer

When I first met with Rebecca about their upcoming wedding - we instantly clicked. We are so similar and vibe so well, I knew we would be having way too much fun in the wedding planning process and then their wedding day coming up next April at the beautiful Bowing Oaks Plantation! 

We had a rainy morning to deal with for their e-session but we improvised and eventually the rain stopped and we got a few different locations in in the process. 

I really loved working with these two and I seriously can't wait for their big day!
