First wedding of 2015!

Meghan + Kyle's wedding happened to be at the same venue where I got married two years ago and this place just makes my heart so happy. Just something about it, is truly magical. 

So you have this magical, amazing venue + twelve bridesmaids + twelve groomsman + two people unbelievably in love and you get this amazing day below. 

As always Jeannie Capellan and I make an amazing team. Love her dearly. Much thanks to for having me second shoot this one with you.  

We definitely started the year off right ;)

Stephanie + Aaron | Jacksonville, FL Maternity Photographer

Stephanie + Aaron are expecting their first little one and it's a girl! I picked their session location not even knowing that it was exactly where they had done their engagement photos years before! When Stephanie told me that during the session, I was like "Well you guys have come full circle then" Sort of perfect ;)

 These two are so sweet and I couldn't be more excited for them and this new adventure they are about to go on together as a family of three. 

Brittany + Tony | St. Augustine, FL Engagement Photographer

I will forever call this session...."The session that almost didn't happen". I booked this date for their e-session with Brittany when she booked her wedding with me about two months ago. Little did we know that it was one of the busiest days of the year in historic St. Augustine. It's always busy down there and I'm used to shooting around that but THIS DAY. The last Saturday of the year, right after Christmas...absolute chaos. All of us were riding around trying to find parking for 45 minutes and I'm in my car watching the beautiful light go down further...and further... and cringing. Then my gas light came on. I really thought all hope was lost on finding parking when finally a guy made a parking space for me next to a dumpster (yes made a space) And finally..the session could start. We joked that basically, if we can handle the stress of this day that their wedding day would clearly be a piece of cake ;) 

I'm so excited about these images and that we got to shoot during the last few weeks of Night of Lights. If you're not from Jacksonville or St. Augustine and never been...it's truly amazing and magical. 

So the session that almost didn't happen..did happen and was wonderful. Close call on that one ;)

Warren, Sutton + Schaldecker Family | Jacksonville, FL Family Photographer

I have worked with the Sutton clan before (recently too! Go back a few blogs and check out Spencer + Sky and all their cuteness) But when Linda contacted me requested a large family portrait of the rest of the crew and extended family, I was super excited! These guys were so much fun and so so easy going. Families like this make my job so fun and everyone has fun during their session like it should be!
