Goodbye December, Hello January 2014! | Behind The Lens

This blog post is a little late, forgive me! The past two weeks flew by in a blur. So much going on with the holidays the big NYE bash I had been planning with seven other ladies. But now it's 2014! What?! Can't believe it's already January 8th....I feel like the months fly by quicker and quicker which means it feels like I'm doing this personal blogs sooner when really it is every month. Anywho....enjoy a look back at my December and the finale to my wonderful 2013 :)

Milo broke out the Christmas sweater and Jimmy became Jim-bow.

Went to Paulina's beautiful baby shower for baby Devan! Can't wait to shoot her birth story in February!

Shot Daimary + David's GORGEOUS wedding at the River House. Seriously I adore these two.

Went to two wonderful Christmas parties at friends houses which consisted of lots of food, games and PJ wearing.

 

Celebrated our dear friend Mike's birthday with friends and my January bride Brittany. Mike is holding a picture of his wife, Paige who is currently deployed. We miss her lots.

Two of my favorite Christmas presents this year included a dehydrator and a polar watch. Both helping with a healthier 2014!

Then it was New Years Eve. And after months of planning a Gatsby inspired NYE we brought 1922 to 2014. And it was a total blast.

Goodbye November, Hello December! | Behind The Lens

Is it seriously December already? Where did 2013 go? Complete and utter craziness. November was a packed month filled with tons of work along with fun. I love November, it's just always a great month. Below is a month in review of my life behind the camera :)

Ben and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary in St. Augustine, FL (one year already?!)

We celebrated this little guy's birthday. Milo turned seven on November 4th! Still forever a puppy at heart.

Then we were off to Boston for four days to visit my dad and family. And before we knew it, we were back home and JUST missed snow. Boo! View the full blog post on our Boston trip here:

Upon returning home, the boys had to investigate. They had no good findings.

Dulcy came all the way from England for a trip to different parts of the US and made me one of her stops to intern with me for the week. I was honored and gained an amazing new friend during this fun filled week of shoots and a wedding.

Our Christmas cards and early presents got mailed out. I was on the ball this year!

A wonderful Thanksgiving at the Halvorsen casa with family, friends and furbabies.

I made Baklava for the first time this Thanksgiving and it was amazing. My Greek half of me was very proud. 

Then we eagerly put up our Christmas decor since Thanksgiving was later than usual this year. And then it was hello December already! 2014 will be here before we know it. I can't wait for another amazing year ahead.
